The Titusville – Cocoa Airport Authority was established in 1963 as a special taxing district created by the cities of Titusville and Cocoa in Brevard County, Florida. The Authority owns and operates three airports: Space Coast Regional Airport (KTIX), Merritt Island Airport (KCOI) and Arthur Dunn Airpark (X21). The airports combined have a total of 325 based aircraft and over 230,000 annual operations. In 2020, the Space Coast Regional Airport became the 12th licensed Spaceport Launch site within the United States (LSO 20 – 019A). The airports are located within the Space Coast in close proximity to Port Canaveral, Kennedy Space Center, Cocoa Beach and Orlando tourist attractions.
