The achievements of the International Space Station over 25 years are numerous, and even worthy of a Nobel Peace Prize given the diverse international coalition that has held for multiple decades. The technical achievement of building and operating a continuously human tended spacecraft has given the U.S. the operational know how to dream even bigger – building a lunar space station and sending astronauts to explore Mars.
