The Commercial Space Federation Endorses Jared Isaacman for NASA ADMINISTRATOR, Urges Speedy Confirmation

March 25, 2025 – Washington, DC — The Commercial Space Federation (CSF) today released its letter to the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation supporting the confirmation of Jared Isaacman to be the 15th Administrator of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).

CSF urges the U.S. Senate to quickly confirm Mr. Isaacman’s nomination. Political leadership at NASA is critical as the agency finalizes its Fiscal Year (FY) 2025 spend plan and FY 2026 budget request – both of which have major implications for NASA’s future priorities and missions. In addition, major workforce shaping decisions and leadership selections should be guided by the NASA Administrator, who will ultimately have to defend such decisions.

Mr. Isaacman’s experience as an entrepreneur, business leader, and commercial space pioneer makes him ideally suited to lead NASA at this critical time. CSF and our members look forward to working with Mr. Isaacman to ensure that NASA leverages the full power of the American commercial space industry to ensure the United States remains the global leader in space.
